The city of phoenix once again throwing away our hard earned tax dollars in settlements and yet have the audacity to ask for almost a billion dollars to fund the criminality and ineptitude of phx phd. Stop throwing our money away. Invest in the community. Police need more than a GED to demand millions of dollars only to harass people of color.
I am a Phoenix college student who has lived here my whole life. Phx PD are among the most violent law enforcement officers out there. Please reallocate money from their 3/4 1B$ budget in favor of community betterment. Ignoring our calls for this will not be forgotten when your seats are up! Shameful that the PHX PD is getting this much money meanwhile our city’s houseless sleep in tents when AZ reaches nearly 110° daily in the middle of an ongoing pandemic.
