Good afternoon I would like to submit my support for the Street signage honoring Bishop Henry L Barnwell. His contributions to the City of Phoenix and State of Arizona was a great and we appreciate the work he had done. This is a well deserved honor and we look forward to the ceremony.
As Senior Director for Community Initiatives at the Arizona Community Foundation, I strongly endorse the installation of the “Bishop Henry Lee Barnwell Proposed Ceremonial Street Signage”. As manager of the Bishop Henry L Barnwell- Dr. Martin Luther King Scholarship Fund, his life and legacy have inspired me and countless others, and will support the educational aspirations of Phoenix students in perpetuity.
We would like to support the ceremonial street signage in honor of Bishop Henry Barnwell. Bishop Barnwell served this community with dignity and honor for many years. This honor is well-deserved. Please vote to approve.
