Please consider installing mesh networks as an alternative to the proposed plan. They are cheaper both in the short- and long-term and will not result in recurring costs for the city. And it will improve the city's overall resiliency in the face of a natural disaster or state-level cyberattack. There is federal funding for mesh networks, too. Finally, it will address the digital divide in a meaningful, permanent way for adults as well & lessen the city's potential legal liability.
