*61 ***ADDITIONAL INFORMATION (SEE ATTACHED MEMO)*** Public Hearing - Historic Preservation Conservation Easement Release for Arizona OIC - 15-39 E. Jackson St.
Hello, My Name is Andy Lucich - I have lived in Downtown Phoenix for 10+ years and Serve on the Phoenix Warehouse District Council for over 6 years. I attended a presentation on the project on said project in August of 2018. I wholly support the project and the development team. I believe they are attempting to activate the corner of 1st and Jackson. It would be an asset to the Warehouse District. Thank you.
Item 63 isn't right we are just stuck we are just homeless a lot of souls will be affected if you throw us out of here. I do however support item 62 to provide more resources for the homeless.
My name is William Rodriguez, My Company is 101 Buchanan LLC, I own 101 E. Buchanan just a few building away from the subject property. I strongly support this project. It will be a great addition to an area in need of help!
As I very long time resident of Phoenix, I have watched with pain, anger & frustration as homelessness has increased dramatically during recent years. The Human Services Campus does a great job of helping address homelessness & while plans are made & implemented to create a regional approach to this issue, NOW is the time to approve the expansion of beds from 425 to 1,000 without any more stipulations, 'if's, and's or but's.' The growing number of homeless people need a bed IMMEDIATELY.
The addition of shelter beds will take a large step towards addressing the crisis we have going on daily in Phoenix, called Homelessness. We need more safe shelter spaces where individuals can find respite in a dignified environment so they can maintain the energy needed to take steps out of homelessness. These members of our community need your help. Please support these efforts to assist in bringing long lasting change to our entire community.
If you value Historic Preservation in the City of Phoenix there is ONLY ONE OPTION. Vote No!!!
I support #62 as written. Phoenix needs Low/no barrier shelter beds
