As a physician, I specifically support the expansion of the Community Advocacy Program and the improvements in the crisis response. Thank you for prioritizing prevention over punitive action. If this proposal is passed, a teenager in the midst of a mental health crisis will now be more likely to get the help they need and go on to live a productive life, rather than undergoing an additional traumatic event.
