As three times past commander, current bar steward and the single person that started a dialogue with the city regarding redevelopment of Post 1's space, I STRONGLY support he Cardinal Capital redevelopment plan. I believe this project will not only be good for the legion family but for the community as a whole. I respectfully request that the city council approve this plan as presented. I look for to a bright future for all involved.

I support moving forward with the sale and development of this property at 723 W. Polk Street to Cardinal Capital Management. This process should not be delayed any longer. The sustainability of Luke-Greenway American Legion Post 1 and the need for affordable housing in the downtown area makes this a winning proposal.

I fully support the proposal of Cardinal Capital Management to created a superb veteran-centered development that preserves historic Post 1. I have been offered the opportunity to provide input on the plan and do not think it would be possible for the City to find a better plan to take Post 1 into its second century of service to the community.

I commend CED and Cardinal Development for their efforts to work with the community in preserving Post No. 1 as part of this development. The proposed terms help to ensure that the City lives up to its commitment to preserving our heritage. Under this framework, the resulting project can be expected to be both a Phoenix landmark and a vital veterans' center. I firmly support moving forward with the selection of Cardinal.

I firmly support Cardinal's plan for the property at 364 N 7th ave. With the renovation of the American Legion Post #1, and the future housing plans favoring Veterans; it is a winning combination.

As a Phoenician who represents Cardinal Capital Management, I respectfully ask for your support for the sale & redevelopment of the American Legion Post #1. Cardinal is recognized by HUD for best practices in Veteran’s housing. If approved, this Project is a win-win for everyone: the City will generate immediate & ongoing revenue, the community will gain access to more affordable housing, the Post will preserve some operations & residents will benefit from having a meaningful redevelopment.

City of Council Members I support selling the property as being requested. American Legion Post 1 has helped and supported the Veterans and their families for over 100 years. We support the Veteran community and also the neighborhood we are in. Vet groups, weddings and funerals, use our facilities and hall for various functions, it's a place so many use because being centrally located is available to so many. Help us continue our mission. Esteemed City Council Members. The State Headquarters of The American Legion of Arizona supports the sale of the property in question. As it happens to be the long-time ground upon which our Charted Post 1 still operates to this day, its many Members have its best interests in mind when it comes to their operations. As the lead administrator of our Arizona state level offices I wish to lend my support of their collaboration with Cardinal Capital. Respectfully submitted, Angel Juarez, Adjutant
