Your cooling center including six portable restrooms and wash stations, a shade structure, tables, and folding chairs on the Human Services Campus lot at 9th Avenue and Jackson Street, is a nice touch, but ineffective. Why can’t you move the tents from along the side of the road into this area so they are further away from businesses and homes in the area? I have driven by your cooling center several times and do not see anyone there or it is not open during the stated hours.
