I 100% support our COP Police Department. Our City Council needs to unify and its leadership needs to create the best team effort in supporting our police. We are the fifth largest city and it is unfortunate that our city council cant put politics aside and lead in a way to support the safety of all 1.7 mil COP citizens. City of Glendale City Council has exemplified thru their social media how every member on city council support their police. We need COP city Council to do the same.
The difficulty in hiring new recruits and keeping them is made very difficult when they are called murderers and rapists by a member of city council. We have another member that thinks we should not hire veterans because they are, by nature, violent people. Insulting all veterans is also a despicable thing to do. I dare these people to walk in an officers shoes for one week. They don't have the courage or ability to do that. Give us the staffing to protect ALL of us.
