    Our county island is made up of R-43 parcels that separate and differentiate us from the huge boom in multi housing that’s popping up all around us. There’s a huge move by investors targeting and destroying our county island. I’ve been notified that even the county can’t protect its county islands. As taxpayers and voters, our voices should be heard and the character of our family homes and land should be protected. Our livelihoods are being sacrificed for monetary gain disguised as opportunity

    We aren't asking for No development, we are asking for mindful development, mindful of our current density pets/livestock, the fact that we built our lives/raised our families here. We are vested in a place we believed would remain R-43 (or =) and any bordering development that would challenge the essence of R-43 devalues every aspect and character of our neighborhood. Anything less than that would be a clear sign that promises aren't kept and peoples hard work/lives do not matter.
