73 Public Hearing and Ordinance Adoption - Rezoning Application Z-58-21-8 - Southwest Corner of 19th Avenue and South Mountain Avenue (Ordinance G-6972)
Not happy about the rezoning from S-1 to R1-10 + permanent loss of lower density and rural land in Phx. BUT, the neighborhood's concession to give 4 houses over the 48 the applicant could have had under R1-18, & the concessions the applicant made: 52 houses max, single story, deep setbacks, multi-use trail, heat mitigation itemized in the draft ordinance, seem a decent compromise & I hope they will build a good product across the street from me. Thanks go to the Vice Mayor for his mediation.
