Thank you for including the safety plan for the 19th ave corridor. This area has had a rapid and terrible decline in the years since light rail came in. Rampant drug sales and useage, violent crime, and prostitution. I have lived in this area for 50+ years and this decline has devastated our area. This plan will be much appreciated and is desperately needed. Thank you

I support this trial budget. I appreciate the inclusion of the 19th ave corridor. Safety, Crime prevention and infrastructure improvements are important investments in vulnerable areas of our City. I would recommend continuing to dial up the equity conversation for pockets of our communities that need resources as preventative measures for healthy, sustainable development.
I am in support of the trial budget - especially with the inclusion of the 19th Avenue Corridor Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan. I have lived in this area for 26 years. There is strong community support to help keep this area thriving and to stay on top of the criminal activity to make it a safe area to live in.
I appreciate that the 19th Ave Safety Plan is included in the budget - this is so critical for neighborhoods and their continuing safety and quality of life.

I support the trial budget especially additions for public safety, homeless programs and neighborhood preservation. The 19th Ave Public Safety Plan will help police patrols to better respond to the violent crime that is occurring in that area. I also support the additional park rangers for neighborhood parks, but there needs to be a dispatch system that citizens can access to report issues in the parks.
Thank you for including the 19th Ave Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan in this budget. 5800 children along with over 1200 seniors go to school and live in this area. Our most vulnerable populations need us to protect them. Now is the time to make our priorities for our children's future and protecting our senior citizens number one.
