I am in full support of the Task Force Recommendations. They have spent many, many hours looking for REAL solutions. I am a Phx Native and our family's business in Sunnyslope deals with homeless issues on a daily basis that effect our business. We support real solutions that HELP those experiencing homelessness. The Task Force has come up with a variety of solutions to help the different aspects of homelessness. PLEASE ADOPT THEIR RECOMMENDATIONS.

The report recommends measures I support on the surface, but the language leaves questions about transparency/methods. Encampment cleanups in Phoenix have historically been problematic (i.e. cruel), so more information & transparency is essential. Transparency is also needed regarding the belonging program & really all aspects of these recommendations. It is also critical to get better population data because the PIT count is inaccurate & each counting error is a human life that still suffers.

I support many things in this recommendation report but I have many questions about much of the language surrounding encampment clean ups, especially in regards to private property, especially in light of the ongoing DOJ Investigation of previous encampement cleanup behavior by the City. I request transparency on all aspects of this program, also especially in regards to the gated alley project. How much arpa funding will be allocated for more things like this versus the current contracts?

Please adopt the recommendations made by the 19 Community Members who were appointed to the City of Phoenix Homeless task force. I have evaluated their very thorough proposal and was very impressed with the completeness of their program. Very excited to get this program in place. That being said there is currently conversation to place a CBI shelter across the street from Rose Mofford Park. Everything that this program proposes creates a conflict with CBI's shelter. Please PROTECT OUR CHILDREN

There are constant camps in Washington Park, most recently the area by the pool has become more dangerous. There are used needles and condoms spread throughout the park, but especially in this area. I have received feedback that the principals of both schools surrounding the park are concerned since kids walk home this way. I now completely stay away from the park altogether. This is not what I had in mind when buying a house in Phoenix, something I had worked toward my entire adult life.
