In light of the many scandals Phoenix Police keep creating and especially with Chief Jeri Williams’ recent ‘early retirement’ we are looking to our Council members to ensure that PPD is held accountable for their harms and that action is taken to prevent this egregious misconduct from continuing.

Council members Stark, Guardado, Pastor, and O’Brien, please do the right thing today and vote yes to get this agenda item on the formal council meeting. We must have transparency and accountability from PPD for their continued misconduct and harm. The City must do better as right now it appears every one is colluding in a massive cover up of Phoenix police.

I fully support these demands for transparency from upper level city leadership and hope you can be on the right side of history by providing the information requested and putting this item on the formal council agenda. I am disappointed it takes this level of community effort to ensure our paid public servants aren't covering up a conspiracy. Either way we will get this info out!

I sincerely hope that each of you will support the community’s demand for police accountability and vote yes to get these items on the formal council agenda. These are all available by public request and it is disheartening that the City isn’t being more forthcoming with info and supportive of extremely valid community concerns.
