I was the Chairman of the NBW Grant Sub-Committee that reviewed the Grant Application Guide and attest to the fact that all 24 of the items submitted before the Public/Safety Committee will enhance the full Committee's ability to review and make appropriate recommendations for funding!!! Perhaps the single most important item is the request to re-instate the Line-Item Veto capability but with the stipulation that the Veto must have a 2/3rd approval by the entire group reviewing the application.
