This project has public support from neighbors, the support of the church on the property site, and provides homes while embracing the walkable urban code. The project just hugs the mandatory minimum parking level, making it so no space is wasted. It was revised multiple times and includes part of the facade despite the building not being deemed historic multiple times by the HPC. Please vote yes for more homes in our neighborhood.
I oppose this request without adequate stipulations to preserve the sanctuary building, colonnades and bell tower. I request that a stipulation be added to protect the community from blight by stipulating applicant obtain a building permit to demolish 3 the structures. Too often historic buildings are demolished so owner's can entitle the land to flip it leaving the community with vacant blighted land. This developer is inexperienced. Building is important to the people that live in neighborhood
