This program gives Phoenix an opportunity to plant the right trees. Trees which generates 50 foot canopies. We need shade and we have many Trees approved by ADWR which will generate 50 foot canopies. Now is the time to do it. We are in year 27 of a 30 year drought time to get these trees planted. Going forward my concern for all of these trees planted is that no one will water them considering water rates will increase by 47% in the few years.
