We need to focus on being fiscally responsible as a City like We The People who you represent are having to do. This item is primarily to fund lobbyists and is a waste of tax payers dollars.

I oppose Phoenix paying the US Conference of Mayors $45,569. We don't need this lobbyist group telling cities how they should be developed. This should be done by the local elected officials not a national organization. Taxpayers should not be allowing the federal government to control more of our lives. Our borders need to be protected from illegals invading our country.

Phoenix should NOT pay $45k+ to the US Conference of Mayors. Recently a letter was sent to 36 Mayors of this group to call for additional funding to bolster local organizations serving asylum seekers along the southern border. Mayors are calling for an additional $500M for Fema and $300M for EFSP Humanitarian assistance. Why should taxpayers pay for illegal aliens to settle in our country? most asylum seekers are here as illegal aliens - hence illegal to begin with. this is tyranny!

Phoenix wants to pay over $45,000 to the United States Conference of Mayors. This organization is responsible for all of the cities with more than 30,000 residents having the same plans implemented for homelessness, climate change, Covid, and many other issues. Phoenix needs to withdraw from this organization and stop implementing its tyrannical policies.
