    I support making it easier for homeowners to build ADUs. ADUs are more cost-effective than buying a larger home and provide a great option for rental income that often keeps the homeowner on site. The ordinance should not regulate the appearance of ADUs as this will result in increased costs associated with building an ADU or converting an existing structure into an ADU.
