The City Council and the Mayor apparently do not remember that the meat industry has been a economic and cultural driver of commerce in the West. Cattle, Cotten, Copper. The future of dictating what people should eat because of climate ideology is all about control and denial of freedom and choice. Along with ride diets and fifteen minute cities. The West was built on independence and self reliance not urban dictates.

This is a $200,000 grant from the Carbon Neutral Cities Alliance, an organization from Copenhagen, Denmark. Sponsored in part by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund & others. Some money will be used to pay a Black Lives Matter supporting organization to grow produce. This is literally building a circular food industry for vegetarians. This does not include raising animals or producing meat products, it's only for produce. One of the organizations is openly hostile towards white people.

I am against banning meat from our resources. “No”on 37.
I am also against the consent decree. Please do not move forward with this. We NEED our police departments to protect and serve. Let them do their job.

According to a 2018 Gallop poll, only 5% of U.S. adults consider themselves to be vegetarians. We as human beings need to eat meat, and this program is not about raising meat. Permaculture is the way to go for regenerating the soil, being beneficial to the environment, and animals are a key ingredient to making it work. Industrial agriculture causes the many problems we have today.
https://sustain.auburn.edu/food-climate-change-a-permaculture-perspective/ The city should be fiscally responsible

The description of this item is misleading. That says all you should need to know to vote against it. Why is an organization from Denmark at the center of an alliance that intends to study the unique challenges of producing food in our hot, dry climate? We raise plants and animals with rainwater harvesting and permaculture substantially reducing our environmental impact. None of this knowledge came from sources in a water rich environment like Denmark. This is simply a waste of money.

When a government pilot project begins, it usually turns into a full-fledge multi-million dollar policy in the future.
Food Forest Cooperative does not grow cattle, chicken, animals or produce meat products or dairy.
Sun Produce Cooperative only delivers vegetables.
This is literally building a circular food industry for vegetarians. This does not include raising animals or producing meat products and is only for produce.
Meat is a much needed protein source and does a body good.

This grant does not include livestock, a major industry in Arizona. This $200,000 grant will grow into millions as part of the Phoenix budget and does not take into account any forms of meat.
