The Arts and Culture Commission has got to be one of the most fiscally irresponsible programs ever adopted. You know what else could enhance the beauty and provide shade and is promoted in the city of Phx water bill, Trees. Trees give back to the environment.
Stop funding artists and artwork and apply these funds to programs that actually need support.

The city needs to be fiscally responsible like it's citizens. We should not be paying out these large sums of money to artists while raising water rates.

Given the state of the economy and the current burden on our taxpayers, we should not be throwing large sums into art work around the city.

Do not spend $300,000 on artwork. This amount would more than cover the costs to repeal the wastewater rate increase earlier this year.
