The proposed affordable housing residential project is critical to actually addressing Phoenix's housing crisis. We often hear about how we need more subsidized units and true affordable housing, and we now have an opportunity to build around 100 homes through LIHTC. That's 100 families that could afford a place to live instead of doubling up in existing neighborhoods or being forced on the streets. Please vote yes on this adjusted site next to commercial and a canal and build affordable housing

We are respectfully expressing our opposition to the new development. We would like to preserve the area as residential since we are concerned about potential safety risks associated with traffic, turnover, crime, noise and the value of the properties. We have lived in the area for many years and has been maintained safe for our kids and family. We support the construction of a community of residential single family houses and keep the residential area as it is now. Thank you

Thank you for allowing us to share our comments. Being residents of the Sonoran Pine Ranch oppose to the new development due to the potential impact in our properties. It is anticipated an increase on the traffic flow which may lead to more potential accidents in the area, lettering, crime, noise. We are also concerned about the property's value to decrease and the safety of our family. We are respectfully requesting to keep the zoning of the area as residential to ensure the neighborhood'safety

We’ve invested time, money,&love into ensuring our community remains safe &welcoming. Our opposition isn't against development; rather it's against a type of development that doesn't align with the character&needs of our community. We gladly welcome new development that respects the current zoning.Phoenixes increase in apartment complexes over recent years shouldn't come at a cost to established communities like ours. The growth should be balanced with preserving existing neighborhoods.

I fully support the proposed 112 affordable housing units being proposed for this vacant site. The City is facing an affordability and suburban sprawl crisis. The proposed plans are at an appropriate scale for the site and residents will be close to bus lines that can provide more sustainable trips for them. Infill, affordable, multifamily uses should be considered seriously here in PHX.
