As I opposed Item 63, I am opposed to this item as well, basically for the same reason, that if there are any road diets noted in any projects related to this item, they need to be removed. Road diets negatively affect small business owners, increase traffic, pollution, crashes and cause serious injuries.

    I oppose item #64.
This item does not mention transportation safety specifically or list traffic lanes prior to projects and after completion of projects. If there are road diets in this project, please remove them. Road diets put small businesses out of business, increase crashes and serious injuries, increase traffic and pollution. This project is past the application period and should not be rewarded. Thank you!

Transportation lanes nor transportation safety are mentioned in this agenda item. If Road Diets are a part of this plan they need to be removed. Both of these projects are past their application period and should not be rewarded.

Both of these items do not mention transportation safety specifically or list traffic lanes prior to projects and after completion of projects. If there are road diets in either of these projects, please remove the road diets. Road Diets put small businesses out of business, increase crashes and serious injuries, increase traffic and pollution.

Furthermore, both of these projects are past their application period and should not be rewarded.
