The rangers should be focused on making sure hikers are ready and have what they need as well as answering any questions , not cleaning bathrooms or any other custodial tasks . If safety is our concern, why are we tasking the frontline of safety to toilet duty ?

The rangers have a giant responsibility to help keep people safe. If they are cleaning restrooms, they are distracted from their primary responsibility. Since the council has taken it upon themselves to close trails during warm temps for the safetyof hikers and first responders, the recent decision to distract rangers seems oddly inconsistent with the previous actions.
