Thank you Mayor and council members for approving an increase in sales tax. Hard call to make but the right call. With state legislators and the federal government limiting the city it was the way to support the budget be able to maintain the "needs" of the city. I agree with Councilman Waring we need to focus and fund the needs 1st. And look at public safety being the top of the list. Our police and fire need the equipment, stations and people to sever this city that is growing fast.
