58 Public Hearing and Resolution Adoption - General Plan Amendment GPA-SM-1-25-8 - Approximately 1,130 Feet East of the Northeast Corner of 23rd Avenue and Baseline Road (Resolution 22329) - District 8
As an Addison Park property owner, I’m concerned about negative impacts on property values, safety, infrastructure, long-term stability, and increased traffic. At the 06/10/25 S. Mtn meeting, the motion passed with stipulations requiring Yardly to present a revised plan with reduced density. No updated plans have been shared, and there’s been no communication or follow-up from Yardly’s legal team with neighboring communities.
As a neighbor I'm opposed to the density of this project, two other new build communities recently approved and not considered in the traffic study and the 10-15 dwelling units per acre is too excessive. I'm in favor of a zoning change, progress, and community enhancements, but have safety concerns with the projects density and believe the current proposal should be revised and reevaluated by the community before approval. Traffic and privacy for neighbors are of utmost concern.
