I think to retain and recruit more police officers we have to support our officers that are doing a huge job with limited staff and the number of people in the valley growing. We have to look at the "big picture" and that is the amount of officers on the street vs all the other parts that the budget pays for from detectives to the administration. When we disagree on a subject that has the word police, voting no is fine but it's not okay to explain your vote with disrespect to our police!
