Every grant involving Homeland Security should have an exclusion that we are not committing to using our police for ICE assistance this kind of federal money may come with hidden strings Therefore it should be clearly stated that the city is going to stand firm not using any of city resources for ICE. And it we don't get the grant because of the exclusion then we don't want it. Then we need to identify what that money was for, what is critical and find the money in the budget to meet the need
