I strongly Oppose. This is a person right to choose. I had COVID before there was a vaccine and my body did what it is designed to do. I have been in direct contact with numerous COVID sick people and not been re-infected. The Vaccine does not prevent getting COVID or dying from COVID. This Vaccine is not Tried and True to be effective. There will always be a flu variance do you recall the "Swayne Flu, Bird Flu, SAARS, this is all about BIG Pharmaceuitcal Companies and misleading Media Hype.

I am 100% against any vaccine mandate. This issue has transcended from a health matter into a highly politicized partisan one. There is money associated with these vaccine mandates which in my opinion is a severe conflict of interest. We are not currently in a state of pandemic, but more so in an endemic phase. Coercion and manipulation tactics to force injections is unconstitutional and highly unethical.

Forced vaccines constitute a form of battery, and the Supreme Court long made clear "no right is more sacred than the right of every individual to the control of their own person, free from all restraint or interference of others." Compelling any employee to take any current Covid-19 vaccine violates federal and state law, and subjects the employer to substantial liability risk, including liability for any injury the employee may suffer from the vaccine.

I oppose vaccine mandates with every fiber of my being. I am not anti vaccine but am definitely anti mandates. As an American, I have the right to choose and the Constitution guarantees me that right. The world is praying we get it right. We are depending on the City of Phoenix to get it right. NO VACCINE MANDATES

STRONGLY OPPOSE, Not only is this mandate unconstitutional and morally wrong, you will be putting innocent lives in harms way. The PFD and PPD have had big staffing issues well before covid and you will only dramatically make things worst for the great people of Phoenix that you have sworn uphold the constitution for and districts accordingly, Courts are placing injunctions to stop the mandate all around the country. History and voters will judge your decisions on this unconstitutional mandate.

I strongly oppose the Vax Mandate on several grounds, including general liberty, religious freedom, and the rule of law. The President' mandates have withstood judicial scrutiny. Both OSHA and HHS have rescinded their mandates due to judicial stays indicating strong likelihood of not surviving trial. Further, as an American citizen, my health decisions are my own, not the Governments! Informed Consent is a bedrock of US health law. And Police presence can't be allowed to shrink further.

As an RN, I have seen firsthand the effects of the current pandemic and often ill conceived ways to deal with it. This includes targeting 100% of the populace Instead of the most vulnerable among us and applying selective science, mainly prevention via a “leaky” sub optimal vaccine & Not giving equal time to effective therapeutics given early on. The cost of mandating “the jab” for our City workers will be far too great. Vital services lost, safety impacted. This should not and cannot happen.

No Vaccine Mandates! Vaccines have been proven to not prevent transmission or hospitalization!
Informed Consent is mandatory under Federal Law!
Additionally, the government does not have the right to our medical records or to make us inject a substance into our body!

    Say NO to forced mandates!

We strongly oppose this unconstitutional mandate. The Civil Rights Act of 1965 prohibits employment and religious segregation and discrimination. These mandates are completely without merit. This is government overreach and will cripple our city. City services, protection and function will suffer at the hands of this. This is blatant discrimination and a violation of rights. No one should be discriminated against/punished for their personal bodily autonomy, medical choices and religious position

I’m not political and I’m not very educated on what the vote in city council is for. Is the vote to say we disagree that we are federal contractors? Not sure why we need a vote for that, a child can see we obviously are NOT! Is it the airport service dog? Ummm give it back. Do not fire us as you violate our constitutional rights and religious freedoms.

I strongly oppose all Covid-19 mandates. By trying to institute it here you are setting a dangerous precedent for the vaccine mandates to be instituted for all workers not just fire and police personnel who already know the risks of their job and chose to do it anyway. Many of the people you are forcing into the position get the jab or lose your livelihood - the right to provide for their families have worked without the vaccine since the beginning. It starts here and we need to end it here!

I strongly oppose the vaccine mandate, this should remain a Freedom for all, to choose. No medical treatment should be forced on any human being, and should not be a requirement for employment.

This mandate needs to stop as it violates our constitutional rights to choose. Let each person decides on their own what’s best for their health!

I’m in full agreement with the US District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, who found three reasons to issue “… a preliminary injunction barring the government from enforcing the mandate in Tennessee, Ohio, and Kentucky…”, the most important reason being that it’s “… a federal intrusion on powers reserved to the States, violating the Tenth Amendment of the Constitution.” No Federal vaccine mandates ever!

I am against the mandate 100%. This is unconstitutional and unethical. These employees came to work day in and day out with minimal resources and minimal support. They protected all of our families our time of need and now its coming down to making them choose between loosing their jobs or getting the vax. This is an attack on their Freedoms. Stop the mandates, protect our cities Freedoms.

The courts across the country have spoken: health mandates are unconstitutional. Stop wasting taxpayers money because this will be overturned if approved.

Making the vaccine a mandate is an invasion of privacy and personal preference. It would be like me telling every person that you have to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. God gave us free will, whether to accept Jesus or not and that free will extends to the choice/decision to vaccinate or not.

I disagree that the City of Phoenix is a contractor of the Federal government. If we cared that much about the Feds then we wouldn't have Schedule 1 Drugs for sale in dispensaries in our city. We don't get to pick and chose. This will not end well for the City of Phoenix and is going to cost the tax payers a lot of money.

No one should be forced or coerced to inject their bodies with a substance, regardless what the substance is or regardless of the reason. "All laws (or mandates) which are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void."
I can’t think of many things more repugnant to the constitution.
