Estoy de acuerdo con el plan ya que hace mucha falta la vigilancia de la autoridad devido a tanta prostitucion, drogas y tiroteos, necesitamos su ayuda.

I fully support this plan. The frequent sitings prostitutes and drug use around 27th Ave has significantly increased throughout the years. I have walked to and from ATS with my nephew and have been exposed to drug use and prostitution. How does one explain to a child the things they see happening around them? Children are being exposed to things they shouldn’t be at such a young age. This plan to help improve 27th Ave will create a safe community for the children to grow in a safe environment.

I support anything that can be done to improve and enhance the safety and appearance of this corridor which is fast becoming an even greater blight within central Phoenix. Thank you for your attention to this crisis.

I 100% support the 27th Ave safety plan and I am requesting once again that the 19th Ave corridor be included. The crime along 19th ave is horrendous and the enhanced plan on 27th ave and the Hatcher plan will push more crime along 19th Ave. Please BUY IN BULK. We have the resourced to fund 19th ave we need to do it NOW. The safety of our children, seniors and our PUBLIC SAFETY need you to approve 19th ave safety.

I support this because I would like to be able to wait for my child's school bus without being propositioned.

I fully support the prevention plan that is presented to the council. I am currently a teacher in the area and previously lived in the area for 20+ years. Over this time, I have seen the crime (prostitution, drugs, etc.) increase in all areas of the corridor. The neighborhood no longer feels safe. I am very much in favor of this needed investment in our community to ensure that our neighborhoods feel safe and all citizens are able to move around freely in a safe environment.

As a Community Development Partner and Leader within Canyon Corridor,, I fully support this plan. Rehoboth CDC has property at 27th Ave and Hazelwood and we’re expanding in June 2022 with a 68-unit affordable housing development. We’re here for the long haul and are happy to partner in any way that we can. Thank you for working to improve this area.

I support this plan but once again i ask that the 19th avenue corridor be included. The crime in this corridor is horrendous and this enhanced plan on the 27th ave plan and the hatcher ave plan will push all the crime to the 19th avenue area where we are already living in a nightmare!! It will be devastating!

I support the 27th Ave. Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan.
The children in this community and surrounding schools deserve so much more. They are our future.
I truly believe with the support of this plan, neighbors, businesses, and schools the children in our community will have a safer environment where they can thrive. "It takes a village to raise a child"

I support this item as proposed and am VERY happy to see this collaboration happening to fight AND reduce crime effectively. This collaboration and TECHNOLOGY is overdue. I hope this is the first program of MANY throughout Phx. Looking forward to immediate implementation!
I strongly feel the same type of program needs to be started as well for the 19th Avenue Corridor. Our business is on 16th Ave between Peoria and Dunlap.

We have lived in this neighborhood for 35+ years. We have seen the deterioration in our neighborhood. Including prostitution, drugs, other crimes , litter and blight.. I believe this ordinance is necessary to keep this area safe.

As a teacher and parent within the ATS school community, our students have been exposed to a plethora of crime and indecency that children should be protected from. Please consider supporting this safety and crime prevention plan.

The neighborhoods in the 27th Avenue Corridor have long needed this ordinance to create a safer environment for all residents. Neighbors have been working diligently for years to improve the safety in this area. It is about time!

Gelila Sima & Isabella Apodaca, 8th Grade students at Alhambra Traditional School

We are exposed to things no person should be in this area which can sometimes be detrimental to some of the students' learning. I (Gelila) have walked to school every day, and what I see day to day is disgusting. I will never get used to seeing used needles, used condoms, cigarettes, etc… On behalf of ATS students, we support a plan that will uplift this environment.
