I oppose the current light rail proposal because it will destroy my community.

Instead of wasting tax payer dollars, ruining businesses and people lives, just increase bus routes. Less cost, more efficient and can start tomorrow vs 10 years from now and ruining the city.

I support moving forward with the light rail project as voted on several times by Phoenix voters. The light rail is necessary for our city to grow and to evolve economically. We need reliable public transit on a city this large, and ignoring that fact will not make it go away. We don’t want to become a traffic snarled place with no options, and we need to be proactive in our approach. Please do not delay this project or reevaluate it.

I believe that we need to diversify our modes of transportation in Phoenix. Most people cannot reasonably afford a car, and also for many we don't want to drive everywhere. It would be so unfair to keep stripping everyone of choices and force us to only drive.

Stop wasting the Taxpayer’s money. Light Rail only kill the small business. Increase homeless in the area. In south Phoenix business has to wait 7 years to finish the project. At the end no body ride it . Maybe 2or 3 people.

Phoenix has been growing since 1990, it hasn't been growing because of light rail transits, light rail will only cause more damage as it already has in the areas like central, camelback, no one uses it. Do your studies before acting!!

These trains never worked in phoenix, more than 50% of business closed down during construction. We dont need more business closures. Think before you act!!

I oppose the light rail plans as currently designed, due to their significant and irreversible impact on local businesses in thearea.
Small businesses are the backbone of our community. Many of these establishments depend on consistent customer access, foot traffic, and reliable parking. The proposed construction and permanent infrastructure changes threaten will cause reduced accessibility, loss of parking, and, in some cases, full displacement which could lead to permanent closure.

This project will cause long term disruption, harm businesses, increase crime, and raise rents, with no plan to protect the community. Waste of tax payers money!!!

The voters of Phoenix support light rail and so do I. Whether you ride the rail or you don't, moving Phoenix's public transit infrastructure forward means improvements for all road users. Supporters of light rail are only asking for what we are owed, which is progress for critical public transit infrastructure like light rail.

I oppose this project because the community is fragile and cannot recover from years of disruption. It will lead to business closures, abandoned buildings, lower property values, and increases in homelessness and crime.

I am opposed because this project threatens businesses, disrupts traffic, and endangers the community without proper consultation or protection. Light rails are not used in Arizona generally speaking. This is a waste of tax payer dollars.

I strongly support Option 1. As a transit user and property owner along the proposed extension, I’ve seen how light rail improves quality of life long term. If Phoenix wants to act like a major city, we must invest in transit. Everyone benefits through cleaner air, less traffic, better accessibility, and stronger access to jobs. Delays risk Phoenix falling behind peer cities. There is a reason City of Surprise isn't the place major companies
are relocating their offices to. Don't Surprise us!
