1 Ballard Spahr Investigations
This item provides a summary of the findings from the investigations conducted on behalf of the City Manager's Office by Ballard Spahr, LLP.
Thanks you for the independent investigations and establishing the OAT. Please move forward with all deliberate speed to address the State overreach,
implement OAT, and the CityManager’s recommendations. Chief Williams is the veteran servant leader and change manager who has the mettle and commitment to protecting and serving ALL PHoenix residents and ensuring GREATER accountability, transparency, justice, professionalism and equity in policing.
I was born and raised in this city & I've always had positive interaction with PHXPD. The police have always had a presence in my neighborhood, respond to calls quickly, & treat my family with respect and kindness. I haven't had negative encounters with PHXPD & do not agree with defunding or this investigation. Why is it okay for the Vice Mayor to continually show distain for PHXPD in the shirts he wears and comments he makes? I fully support PHXPD & thank them for their service.
My company (Auto Obsession LLC) has conducted business for 11 years in the City of Phoenix with the support and service of the Phoenix PD. Their service and professionalism has been flawless. My company, myself and my entire family supports and respects the men and women of the Phoenix PD and appreciate their assistance in keeping our streets and neighborhoods safe. We 100% oppose this childish attack on the police department and do not support the use of any city or state funds for such purpose

I support Chief Jeri Williams as the person best qualified and in place the correct the problems in the Phoenix Police Department that were identified by the recent independent investigations and the DOJ. I do not support any move to have her fired or removed from her position.
The African American Christian Clergy Coalition supports Chief Jeri Williams as the person who is best qualified and in place to correct the problems in the Phoenix Police Department that were identified in the two independent investigations and the DOJ investigation. We do not support any move to have her fired by the Phoenix City Manager. Dr. Warren H. Stewart, Sr., Chairperson, AACCC
I have utmost faith in and thoroughly trust PHXPD. As a block watch leader and small business owner, I have worked with PHXPD for over ten years. I trust PHXPD far more than I do most council members.
This investigation is a witch hunt instigated by Vice Mayor Carlos Garcia whose aim it is to turn PHX into another lawless Portland.
Garcia has done much harm to our city. Citizens have grown weary of Garcia attacking our police.
Carlos Garcia needs to be investigated, not the police.
I support the police. I have had nothing but positive interaction with the Black Mountain Police precinct. These officers and personnel show the utmost professionalism and love for their job. They provide lots of valuable information to the community and work with neighborhoods to support them. They have been responsive to both my concerns and the concerns of my neighborhood often researching and following people with us. Thank you for what you do!
Mr. Serbalik makes some very interesting points in his video. If interviews were not recorded, that is a real issue. It also appears Councilman Garcia needs to be removed from the City Council for violating the City charter. View video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=571ApAT9SYQ
This incident has been blown way out of proportion by anti-police activists like Poder and their best friend, "Vice Mayor" Carlos Garcia. Unfortunately, neither he nor his cronies understand the concepts of "due process" and "just cause" and don't care to because it's all about their agenda. Let the investigation run its course and if discipline is warranted, than so be it, as long as it is fair and consistent with what policy calls for for sustained allegations.
As a downtown Phoenix resident I am urging you to fire all officials and officers involved in the Ballard Spahr Investigations, Oct. 17th arrests, and the Challenge Coin. Furthermore, the Council should implicate both PLEA and MCAO as complicit entities. We are in dire need of non-police options as first responders. The City Council should must implement the NOCAP Coalitions ordinance during the establishment of any Crisis Assistance Program.

Your speaking system never works. All officers and leadership involved must be fired now. If they did not tell the chief, they should be fired. If the chief did not know what was going on she should be fired. Zuercher who has facilitated this violent police gang for years should not be allowed to retire with pension but be fired and lose his pension as should the others who have brutalized this city for decades. The lawsuit by the officer re coins is proof of their belief in infallibility.
