I strongly SUPPORT the BLM street mural. This has nothing to do with being anti-police, being left or right wing, but everything to do with being treated equally as a HUMAN being here in the US (especially in AZ) no matter what our skin color is. The street mural is a reminder of this.

I STRONGLY OPPOSE any sort of BLM mural or painting anywhere in AZ. EVERYWHERE that BLM has a presence, violence, looting, rioting and destruction ensue. AZ has largely been spared the tragedy of destruction and chaos because we did not jump in head first with the BLM rhetoric. Scottsdale Fashion Square suffered millions of dollars in loss and Minneapolis and Portland are burning as we speak. Instead, we should focus on being a leader in nationwide unity and healing. Please vote against this.

I strongly support this mural - all lives won’t matter until Black Lives Matter.

This mural is racist. BLM has caused riots, death and destruction across America. This would cause MUCH friction and possibly violence here in Phx. Enough division. All lives are equally important. This is driven by radicals that want to destroy law and order and peace in our country. If you are complicit...you are part of the problem...not part of the solution.

I strongly oppose this mural. The black lives matter started as a movement against police brutality, it has been completely hijacked by looter, professional rioters(causing harm, violence and distruction). I oppose this group as it only further divides people. thanks

Black lives matter! Unfortunately, BLM is wreaking havoc on every city they enter: looting, burning, destroying businesses & harming people regardless of ethnicity. We must have law & order if we are to survive. We should honor our police for risking their lives for us all. Any bad cops are always prosecuted & fired when discovered. There are laws to bring justice to hate crime victims. Bringing mayhem to innocent people because of a crime only begets more crime. BLM murals are inciting crime.

This group should not have access to color on a tax payer street. The working majority does not want this. This group doesn’t share th values of AZ taxpayers. They state they want to do 3 things, defund the police, eliminate our prisons and destroy the western nuclear family. We the people of Arizona (tax payers) believe in our police and want them to have additional funding for more staff and training. This group has proven its violent nature all across the country. Send them a message NO!

BLM is a violent and hostile organization that doesn't deserve support. The cities that have stood in support of them are still being torn apart.

I don’t want my tax money to go to promoting a hate group. BLM has caused nothing but destruction and division within our country. I love Arizona, please don’t ruin our state for the many wonderful people who live here.

Please do not allow this in phoenix. BLM has only shown violence and a biased political agenda everywhere they have gone.

I strongly oppose the BLM mural. Do not waste our tax dollars promoting an organization that is racist, violent, Marxist and anti-American! All lives matter!!! The BLM doesn't care about black lives. All they care about is destroying property and looting businesses. They have already destroyed enough property in Phoenix and other cities around Arizona!

Please do not impose this on Arizona's capital. I oppose glorifying a violent organization along with selective political agendas.

Oppose - BLM is not a positive organization and bad for the community. Adding this mural is an invitation for violence.

BLM IS RUN BY CRIMINAL FELONS THAT USE TERRORISTIC MEANS TO ACHIEVE THEIR DESIRES! Do not allow this!! The tax paying law abiding people of all races want a STOP TO THIS VIOLENT GROP OF EVIL THUGS TERRORIZING, BURNING, LOOTING BUSINESSES AND COMMUNITIES AND DESTROYING HISTORICAL MONUMENTS DEMANDING WE PUT UP THIER “GANG SYMBOL”. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW THIS TO TAKE PLACE! TAKE A STAND!!!

I support this mural! It has nothing to do with a “Marxist” or Hate organization and everything to do with systemic racism and the fact that black lives are being lost to police brutality and other archaic forms of hatred.
Painting Black Lives Matters is the minimum that should be happening here. Stop killing people! Start treating people with compassion.

NO! BLM founders openly stated they are trained marxists. Keep this racist Police hating group out of our state. Look at the people voting in favor of this, they're all talking about defunding the police.

The creation of this mural, particularly during the two-week period of street closures, could be interpreted as an invitation to those who would come to disrupt, wreak havoc, and be involved in riotous behavior, such as has been experienced in several cities. The lawless destruction of businesses, Civic and Federal properties, and violence against law enforcement (or anyone who disagrees with these individuals), is not welcome here.
