I disagree with the Black Lives Matter mural because they are out to destroy our country and cause chaos. It's not about helping Black Lives. And it would be graffiti on the road. And in this country, All Lives Should Matter!

I oppose the mural because I don't believe that Black Lives Matter is really about black lives and they only care about the black people who are killed by police officers and they don't even care if it was justified or not.

This is exactly what the city of Phoenix should be doing - showing empathy, decency and in solidarity with our fellow citizens! SUPPORT - YES!!!!

I am apposed to allowing any special interest group to paint a mural on our streets. Allowing this will set a dangerous. precedent for any and all groups to paint street murals. A street mural will be a traffic hazard and may cause accidents because the murals will distract drivers. If the city allows the mural, it will also be in the position of accepting liability for those collisions, costing me and other tax paying citizens additional monies.

Please vote No/Against on agenda item 19 the BLM street mural. Not only is this a safety issue for drivers on the busy streets this mural is proposed on, this is a political mural from a political group that is inappropriate. The city of Phoenix should not allow political issue to be disguised as art. I believe if this mural is allowed it will bring additional rioting and unrest to our city. Please do not let Phoenix become the next Minneapolis, Portland, St. Louis or Kenosha.

We are opposed to this on public property. We do not want to experience what happened in Portland or Seattle etc. I feel that this is not safe for our city

While I believe that black lives do indeed matter, as all lives do. I do not align myself with that particular organization. If the Phoenix government allows the mural to be painted they are saying that they support all that the BLM movement stands for. It will cause more division in our communities. Does this mean we are now allowed to paint Jesus Lives on our street?

Let the people use art to express themselves in something that data and research says is absolutely correct and a real issue. We don’t have a problem with looting and rioting in Arizona, we although have a police use of lethal force problem (AZ number one in the nation in the use of lethal force 2018) Repeat after me. We will keep fighting for a better America!!! A America where racism is unacceptable and a America where children are the number one priority and where our biggest investment is.

I believe all lives matter. I do not support the lawlessness and violence perpetuated by the BLM group. Please do not give them a reason to set up camp and bring their destructiveness to Phoenix.

Strongly support. Support all acknowledgment that Black Lives Matter, everyday, everywhere, until our nation makes this a systemic reality. Yes, a street mural is a symbolic gesture, but it is a sign of incremental progress and community commitment.

BLM is not what they try to project. They participate and collude with violent people and organizations, trying to entice disenfranchised African American people to their cause through the auspice of 'social justice'; however, these impressionable people who have most likely NOT been taught Critical Thinking skills are being used forward a violent, criminal, "Decentralized" so no one can be prosecuted, pseudo-caused that is WHOLLY political at this time. NO NO NO to this mural!!

No BLM murals or anything in Phoenix! BLM is a radical Marxist organization that engages in violence and destruction and has nothing to do with protecting Black lives. Commemorating it in any fashion would be an insult to Phoenix citizens of all races. No!

Our streets are not the place for any messaging that is not directly necessary for traffic needs. Keep our streets for their purpose -- driving on! This issue affects everyone who lives in the greater Phoenix metro area and regularly visits Phoenix, not just Phoenix residents.
