I oppose the flavor ban on vaping products. Flavor bans don’t protect youth. Data in other cities clearly shows it, as does the National Youth Tobacco Survey. But actually enforcing age restriction laws in place will help. Flavor bans only strip the rights from tax paying adults.

Its all about money, what about real justice??? Im in this industry for 13 years and I can say it as father of 3 beautiful kids. Vaping and everything that comes with it which is definitely the flavor IS THE BEST solution that our society needed. In my 13 years ive only seen an upgrade in my life and in my health and in many other people around me. Please check the real facts and let this beautiful moment called VAPE keep growing and stop the ASHE.

Flavored vapor products helped me quit other tobacco products. Think of the small businesses, jobs, and lives on the line when considering a flavor ban. This will only lead to more pressing issues as we saw with the illicit thc cartridges earlier in the year with black markets.

I oppose the ban on flavored vaping products. It is a regulated industry, that helps adult smokers have a safer alternative. Flavored vaping products ARE NOT flavored tobacco products. Vapes do not contain tobacco. Banning flavors will lead to unregulated black market products that are unsafe.

I think we all should have that choice as adults over the age of 21yrs old, not giving money to the big tobacco companies who with their products harm our health

Adults have the right to choose flavors, just like alcohol."

Banning flavors won't make flavored vaping products disappear, but will shift the supply from FDA-regulated manufacturers to uncontrolled black market producers. Much like with cannabis, alcohol, or any other adult product, the best way to control the supply and prevent underage use is to restrict its sale to adult-only establishments (vape shops), which are regularly checked for age compliance. Flavored e-liquid is very easy to make. *Someone* will make it -- and sell it.

Vape shops do a good job in not selling to minors. From January 1, 2018 to September 30, 2019, the U.S. FDA administered 3,097 tobacco age compliance inspections in Arizona. Of those, 500, or 16 percent, resulted in a sale to a minor. Of the violations, 154 (30 percent of violations and 4 percent of all compliance checks) involved the sale of e-cigarettes or vaping devices. The number of violations involving sales of cigars and cigarettes were 256 and 82, respectively, during the same period.

I oppose the flavor ban on vaping products. How does the state justify the marketing & sale of flavored alcohol? (320 drunk driving deaths, 3095 injuries, total of 4854 related crashes in AZ 2017) How does the state justify the sale of traditional tobacco? (1300 deaths per day, 480000 deaths per year in the US) This is not an issue of health, this is not a public remedy, this is a prohibition created from false & retracted studies, funding tobacco companies to further poison our future.

I oppose the flavor ban on vaping products. Adults should be able to smoke any type of e-cigarette as long as normal cigarettes are around. Flavored vape juices have helped so many people quit smoking cigarettes and I know that is bad news for the gov and big tobacco but public health is more important than unnecessary government revenue.

The ban of flavored Vaping products will not only force small businesses to close, adding to the failing economy, but will make people apply for unemployment, which is all but impossible currently. In addition the availability of flavored, less harmful tobacco alternatives has helped countless adults kick their combustible tobacco habit. Opponents like to claim they’re thinking of “the children”. But don’t children deserve to have parents who don’t die of lung cancer?

A ban is never the answer. A flavor ban will hurt thousands of small businesses across Arizona and It will create a potentially unsafe black market as well. Adult enjoy flavors too. I don’t know where we lost track that adults don’t enjoy flavors. When I first quit smoking, finding that one flavor was what helped the most without that I probably wouldn’t have been able to quit. Millions of adult Vapers depend on flavors to stay away from cigs! And the millions of current smokers deserve the same

I oppose the flavor ban on vaping products. Research shows that the availability of flavored vapor products is cited as a main reason that former cigarette smokers are able to switch and stay with vapor products. Also data in other cities show that the flavor bans do not protect youth, but enforcing an actual age restriction law would help protect the youth. Doing a flavor ban is only taking away our adult- tax payers rights!!!!

Placing a flavor ban would shut down small businesses and cause 100's to be unemployed in the Phx area, during a time of crisis we don't need to add to the pandemic. We all want the same thing for youth and that can only be accomplished by laws that hold companies, youth, and parents responsible. Banning what you don't understand and hoping it solves a problem is not the way. Its time we actual consider the people as a whole before implementing a ban on something that helps adults quit cigs.

Flavors helped me quit a 20 year habit. I smoked a pack and a half a day. Thanks to vaping I have not had a cigarette in 7 years. This is a great alternative to cigarettes and can help people stop a bad habbit that can cost them their lives. Fruit flavors is what helped me if it was just tobacco I would still be smoking.
