I've been smoke free for years after switching to vaping! It saved me from my heart condition getting worse. This will hurt so many small businesses! Flavored e liquids are essential in helping smokers live better lives and having that variety. For years its assisted my friends and family in quitting cigarettes and bettering their health. Please give this another chance.

I oppose this flavor ban. Flavored e liquid helps smokers like myself quit the much more harmful cigarette smoking.

Flavors saved my life. They got me off cigarettes, cigars, and pipe tobacco. Then off nicotine. Now I'm even vape free.

This ban would hurt small business owners who are already suffering amidst the COVID-19 crisis. If retailers are forced to stop selling certain tobacco products, then customers will just drive to another city or purchase on-line. They may also turn to black market sellers who will supply smuggled flavored tobacco products to anyone of any age. Responsible retailers should be allowed to sell products in a law-abiding manner to adults 21 and older rather than creating an unregulated marketplace

I am now over 8 years smoke free and my lungs absolutely prove it. I was using an albuterol inhaler each month for years when I switched, and in the last 8 years instead 96 prescription inhalers, I used less than 3! That difference alone has drastically changed my life and shown me just how very very different vape is from smoking. Not to mention the extreme reduction in how addicted I feel, forgetting to vape for hours which never happened with cigs. Non tobacco flavors made this possible.

I oppose, with the laws no being that you have to be 21 to purchase any tobacco or vape product it should & has reduced the amount of teens vaping or smoking. Adults like myself who have been vaping for SIX years & have seen drastic improvements with our health since starting vaping should be able to choose how they want to deliver the nicotine to their bodies. A ban will cause more people to go to the black market & we will see a rise of EVALI cases if that happens. #VapingSavesLives

Smokers should be given every possible tool when switching to Vaping, a far safer alternative to cigarettes. Flavored e-liquids are a key component when adults attempt quitting deadly cigarettes. Every smoker deserves unfettered access to this revolutionary form of tobacco harm reduction. Thank you.

Banning flavors forces every vaper to regress back into smoking cigarettes, which kills thousands of people yearly, but also closes down hundreds of small businesses. According to the CDC, "Cigarette smoking is responsible for more than 480,000 deaths per year in the United States, including more than 41,000 deaths resulting from secondhand smoke exposure. This is about one in five deaths annually, or 1,300 deaths every day." Four base ingredients in vapes vs. 7000 chemicals in cigs, do the math

I am a Pulmonologist. All my patients starting smoking in high school or earlier. That is the time they are most susceptible to advertising and peer pressure. It is also the time when their lungs are most susceptible to injury. It is not a fair fight against the Tobacco industry because they have years of research and experience in enticing children. In spite of the knowledge shared with my children two of three were seduced by their methods. We need to protect children from this evil.

8 yrs ago, I quit a 25 yr smoking habit by switching to vaping. Since then, I breath much easier. Before vaping, I had tried gum, Chantix, zyban and everything failed. Vaping got me off of cigarettes. It did almost effortlessly. But flavors kept me off. I moved away from tobacco flavors to fruit flavors. Please do not restrict my ability to less harmful alternatives. If you pass a flavor ban, I will be forced to mix my own flavored ejuice. This will hurt local business and help no one.

What follows this, A ban on flavored alcoholic beverages? Laws need to be enforced so that those that are of age can make their own decisions. This will only force people to buy outside your city limits and reduce funding to your other Gov't programs. The issue with a lack of effective parenting should not be solved by Gov't trying to ban some products that are unhealthy. What about alcohol, why don't you tackle this one that actually kills others? I don't like banning - I vote for Freedom.

Banning flavors will not stop kids from smoking or vaping. When I was 12 I would find ways to get cigarettes the plain old tobacco kind. I smoked for almost 30 Years, thanks to fruit flavors as a option in vape I have successfully quit. My kids thank me for choosing this way as I tried all the drug companies options. The gum tasted like garbage, the patches gave me blisters and the chantax pill made me want to commit suicide. This is the best option for people to quit smoking. I oppose this 100%

Protect kids by punishing the retailers that sell to them. Law abiding adults should have a choice. This is not going to do anything but create a black market and force businesses to leave Phoenix. You can't fix a problem by making more problems.

Vaping is a life-saving technology. I am 42 years old. I have been smoke-free for 6 years thanks to flavored vaping products. Without flavors, I do not think I would have been successful. I tried patches, pills (horrible nightmares) gum, and even hypnotism. Nothing worked to get me away from combustible tobacco products like vaping. I started on a cherry limeade flavor and now enjoy fruit flavor vaping products.

Flavors help many adults switch from toxic harmful cigarettes. With out eliquid flavors many adults may not quit smoking, and in turn deal with the health consequences. I do not support a flavor ban on e cigarettes.

This ban that includes menthol cigarettes flavored smokeless tobacco, cigars, pipe tobacco & vapor products would have a serious negative impact on local retailers including areas of employment, tax revenues & store viability. This ban seems quite excessive & goes beyond “protecting our children”.The fundamental basis of right & wrong is built at home no ban or regulation will stop illegal behavior. 99% of merchants are responsible retailers and will not sell to children should they choose wrong
