Vaping is a safe alternative to smoking cigarettes. Regulations can be made to keep underaged children from obtaining these products. Do not punish thousands of adults that safely use these products.

I support this ban; flavored vape is meant to attract kids.

The tobacco industry has targeted our Black and Brown, youth, children, and communities for decades. It's time to make saving lives a priority, it's time to protect our youth. It's time to protect our communities. I strongly support the ban against flavored tobacco products.

20% of high school students use e-cigarettes and more are being addicted each day. 83% use flavored tobacco products, and nearly 40% are smoking and vaping at least 20 days each month - which is a sure sign of addiction causing significant damage to their adolescent brains. That's why five states and dozens of cities across the USA banned flavored tobacco products. History will reflect positively on our leaders for directing the city attorney to investigate this critical public health issue.

As a small business owner it is our responsibility (we take very seriously) to keep any tobacco products out of the hands of minors! The recent age change from 18 to 21 has been strictly adhered to in my business. Many of the adults that use flavored ecigs do so to help them quit smoking cigarettes. Please do not ban flavored ecigs! The damage done to the smoking public and the many small businesses will be devastating.

I strongly oppose this. The science behind vaping shows it saves lives and reduces the local government's burden to diseases caused by cigarette smoking. All ADULTS use flavored vape products. Make the laws stricter for sale to underage buyers! They're not getting these products in a vape shop. They're getting them from convenience stores or online sales. Taking away a product used by responsible adults is reprehensible and is another form of prohibition.

I strongly oppose this ban, ecigs save lives and all major health officials agree. This is a money grab by big tobacco to knock out the competition

I strongly oppose this ban, as a small business owner, this will be devastating to small businesses in this tough economy and will create big black market.

Flavors attract kids to vaping -almost 83% report using a flavored product - and the nicotine keeps them using. The number of HS kids reporting frequent use (38.9%) has been increasing year-over-year suggesting addiction is on the rise. 62% of Phoenicians support a comprehensive and enforceable ordinance that restricts the sale of all flavored tobacco products. The City attorney needs to research all options to address the sale of flavored tobacco products.

This is not about money. It is about saving lives. Nicotine is an addictive and deadly drug. There are over 15,000 flavors categorized as desserts, candies, drinks, fruity, tobacco and menthol. We fought an upward battle for years trying to reduce the use of tobacco among youth and after a decline, along came new flavorful vapes to lure the kids right back to the market. Adults have options with menthol and tobacco. Remove the kid flavors and protect the youth from their uninformed teen brains.

I STRONGLY oppose this ban. I've been smoking since I was 14 and have been tobacco free for over 10 years now. Without vaping and flavors I would still to this day be smoking. People and children will find other ways to get what they need especially from the black market which is worse. We as AMERICANS should not have OUR RIGHTS challenged or taken away because parents cannot take responsibility for what THEIR children are doing. Banning this will not stop anything but make matters worse.

I support the ban on flavored tobacco and vape products because as a senior in high school, I have witnessed too many of my peers face the negative affects of these harmful products.

Without flavors, I would not have stopped putting hundreds of deadly chemicals in my body from cigarettes.

I’m opposed to banning flavored vaping because I find it helpful in quitting smoking cigarettes
