I have worked for the city for over 13 years. The vaccine should be a choice not the only way we keep our jobs. We are already extremely short staffed and losing people weekly. Now you are willing to lose even more people over something that will not stop the spread of covid. By passing this mandate you will lose even more people. This will absolutely affect the crime rates and law abiding citizens in the city in a negative way.

STOP THIS MANDATE! This is MY body which equals MY choice! My body/health doesn't belong to you, the city or the government, I am a child of God! This is discrimination at it's finest! My ancestors fought for our freedom, AND SO WILL I to the bitter end!

    Mayor and CIty Council,
I have been a employee with the city for 5 yrs. and this has caused the lowest morale that I have seen. I am not an anti vaccine "crazy", I am an anti mandate person. Deciding on your medical care is an important right of ours, if we give that up, we will soon lose more of our freedoms. Let each person decide what is best for them, not under the guise of being terminated or bribed as you have been doing. "I do not consent to the Vaccine".

I strongly oppose this mandate. This is unconstitutional and unethical. America was founded on the principles of freedom and it’s time people start remembering that. This mandate is a complete violation of our personal freedom.

My husband and 2 of my sons are Phoenix Firefighters and I have one more son in the academy right now. This unconstitutional mandate will affect my entire family. I am not anti-vaccine, I am anti-mandate. The measles and smallpox vaccine actually prevents you from getting it and spreading it. This COVID vaccine does NOT prevent you from getting or spreading it and is still under EUA and NOT FDA approved! This is a complete government overreach. Stop this unconstitutional mandate immediately

Council members, the individual freedom to choose is what makes us unique and successful as a nation and society. This mandate is in direct conflict with that freedom. As a citizen and employee of the city I am stating that this mandate should not be passed or imposed. It is an overreach and does nothing to help any of us or prosper the city. Other cities have enacted the mandate and experienced unnecessary injuries and death do to staffing issues in their public safety. This will do that in Phx

Hi, I have proudly worked for the Parks Department for 15 years with no complaints but I strongly oppose this Illegal Vaccine mandate that is being imposed upon us by the Federal Government. It goes against my beliefs as a Christian man, my Constitutional rights, HIPAA rights, and the Nuremberg code. I have had Covid and now have antibodies which have been proven to me more effective against this virus. Please consider those of us who have antibodies and also remember that we have rights!

This mandate is unconstitutional. The city of Phoenix has no right to demand medical records of anyone or require them to defend their religion. This is unconstitutional, unlawful, unacceptable and will be met with resistance and lawsuits to make up for the discrimination. We'll will bankrupt the city with lawsuits and damages owed to the city workers that are discrominated against.

Dear Mayor, City council members, ANY vaccine mandate is illegal per our constitution; it goes against everything sacrifice given for this countries freedoms. As elected officials you have a duty to protect these freedoms. This country being given mandates without consideration of the repercussions is inhumane. We the people need to take care of each other and not the wealthy investing in their own gain. Please reconsider the validity of this mandate for the sake of the next generations.

The city, not anyone has the right to mandate that I get anything injected into my body. There is not enough research to validate that any vaccine is safe and the COVID shot is not even a vaccine under the definition. No, I say no you are not going to inject me with an experimental substance that we do not know the side effects or long term problems that will result from this substance being injected into the human body. It is my constitutional right to say NO. And I am saying NO.

Hello Mayor and City council members,
I have worked for the city for over 25 years and want to ask you to say NO to this vaccine mandate. It has caused a great amount of stress and anxiety to my self and family. I feel like I am being singled out because I do not want to put a shot into my body. I feel like the city does not support me in this situation. I totally support anyone that wants to get the vaccine but I would like to have a choice of wether to get one or not . Thank you .

This vaccine mandate is illegal per our constitution and goes against everything Americans have sacrificed so much for in order for us to be a free nation. As elected officials you have a duty to protect these freedoms. It is not right to mandate an experimental vaccine that has no long term proof of safety and that no one (Federal government, State government or the Pharmaceutical companies) assume any liability for any adverse reactions it may cause in the future.

Please stop the mandate for the city of Phoenix employees. This is a decision that should be had on a personal level not forced. This is not an anti-vaccine situation it’s an anti-mandate one. The pandemic has been hard on me and my family, enforcing a decision the federal government should have no ability to do is wrong and will be costly to the city in many ways. Departments that struggled pre-pandemic would only make things on those departments. Please keep our individual choice in mind.

As a Jewish member of this community, let me caution where this “mandate” leads. Look at Australia and their detention camps. Now possibly Germany will institute the same. This mandate and segregation will only harm our city, divide employee groups, and cause an exodus of hard to replace talent. G-d provides us all with personal choice and robbing individuals of their freedom, forcing them to choose between an unwanted shot and economic survival, is an unholy act. We cannot let this continue.

I have worked for the City of Phoenix Fire Department for the past 32 years. Never in that time did I think the city would violate my Civil Rights. Your decision to force me with a mandate to receive a vaccine is against my Constitutional Rights. All through this last year I went to work serving the public this when I was infected and became very sick I already have antibodies that will protect me. I am 100% against this unconstitutional vaccine mandate, please reconsider mandate and vote no.

Implementing an unconstitutional executive order overrides the bodily autonomy of our fire dept and jeopardizes our safety. Now is NOT the time to buckle to draconian measures and risk losing fire fighters. Our men endured the pandemic heroically, showing no significant instance of spreading or contracting to community members... and we are foolish to put their lives in jeopardy and mandate they risk adverse reactions and undeniable cardiac adverse events to bow to a mandate. Protect our men!

Vaccine mandates are pointless and unconstitutional. The vaccine doesn’t prevent someone from getting or spreading COVID. It should be every citizens right to make their own choice for personal protection.

A vaccine mandate would make Phoenix a dangerous place to live, work, and play as those first responders and others who are opposed to government tyrrany flee the city to a place where medical freedom is valued. Think of the cities you would not visit or move to due to safety or quality of life. Do you want Phoenix to be on that list?

I am a concerned citizen of Arizona. We trust our lives to the Police and Fire Dept. Please continue to protect the citizens in Phoenix and surrounding communities. No vaccine mandate, Arizona city workers deserve the right to make their own health choices.

No to unconstitutional mandates. No government officials, elected or not have the right to coerce their constituents to take an experimental vaccine. Jab or job, I’m embarrassed for this city that doesn’t support freedom and a persons right to choose. Vaccines aren’t stopping Covid, you can still get, carry and spread it while being fully vaccinated, and getting the booster.
