There has not been enough research to mandate this vaccine. Please respect individual choice and medical freedom. I am not opposed to vaccines. I have had every vaccination and regular flu shots. However, I am opposed to a mandatory Covid vaccination at this point. We cannot force citizens to get this shot to maintain employment. This would be devastating to our economy. People will choose individual freedom and medical freedom over employment. We are already in a dire economic state.

The vaccine should be a choice. Does “my body my choice” only apply to pregnant women? Why shouldn’t antibodies be considered? Instead of forcing people to get a shot why not have people eat healthier and work out? Definition of insanity is trying the same thing over again and expecting a different outcome. The jab didn’t work and yet your forcing people to get it still….

Please respect the right of employees to determine what’s best for their health care. Please resist this government overreach or allow employees to receive an exemption regardless if it is for religion or not.

I Strongly oppose President Biden's and Arizona and Phoenix's arbitrary and dangerous vaccine mandate. This unilateral and over reach government mandate has serious constitutional issues and is causing medical personnel to quit, as well as police and firefighters jobs on the line. The vaccine mandates Must stop!

Where there is Risk, there must be Choice!
Not only is bodily autonomy a human right, it is the foundation upon which other human rights are built. And the callous act of the government/City of Phoenix to consider a vaccine mandate for its employees is wrongful to say the least, and people behind this tyranny should resign immediately! You have no place in governing people, if you do not understand basic human rights.

As a resident, I highly oppose this mandate! This will have a negative impact on the services necessary to keep our City safe, thriving, and clean. We are already facing a staffing crisis among many departments and can’t stand to lose anyone else. You all are not Federal Contractors. That’s absurd! The holidays are right around the corner and you are forcing people out of work! How will they feed their families? How will the City keep up services you must provide to the community? This is wrong!

As a Phoenix fire fighter for 11 years I adamantly oppose these tyrannical mandates. I am not anti-vaccination I am anti-mandates. These so-called vaccinations are not FDA approved. As a firefighter I contracted Covid over a year ago and have been immersed in this controversial so-called pandemic and have not fallen ill again. Are the freedom of choice is the principle that our great country was built upon and these mandates I coach directly against our civil liberties.

The tyranny expressed in Biden’s executive order 14042 is “beyond the pale”. The safe and effective narrative being pushed in the media is an outright lie. It doesn’t seem to matter that there have been numerous adverse reactions and deaths to this “so called” vaccine.
I have 2 friends who received double doses of the “Fauci Ouchies” who have newly diagnosed heart issues, who previously had none. I am so glad I am a former and not current COP employee.

We have let this debate become about things that it is not truly about. If it were really about safety and health then this mandate would be taking natural immunity into account. Recent news articles have painted unvaccinated firefighters as selfish and misinformed if not unethical for not being vaccinated, but doesn’t acknowledge that nearly 800 phoenix firefighters have already had the virus. The vast majority of those firefighters got the virus prior to the availability of this vaccine.

I strongly oppose any vaccine mandate! There is no scientific evidence that it works and there isn’t enough studies done to see how it will effect people in the long run. It is UNCONSTITUTIONAL and against peoples rights! If the city is going to mandate testing then ALL employees should be tested since the vaccinated can still spread the virus. This has nothing to do with protecting people but controlling them!!!! Wake up if you mandate this many people will leave!

As a GOD fearing, freedom loving AMERICAN patriot, who along with his wife, has raised two likeminded children, one who has worked for The Phoenix Fire Department for 17 years, I am vehemently opposed to this Vax mandate. Our forefathers gave their lives so that future generations would not have to face the loss of liberties that this mandate and other edicts from the ruling class hand down from high! This is still AMERICA…stand strong for what is right! Common sense must applied, not Fed.Govt. $$

I strongly OPPOSE this Vaccine Mandate. I am not an anti-vaccine individual. However I cannot bring myself to inject an experimental dose that is technically not FDA approved. COMIRNATY, the FDA approved vaccine, is not even available. So you, the city, will be held liable for any adverse reactions. The negative impacts to the city far out weight the positives if the mandate continues. What happens when Fire Dispatch cannot provide services to the other 28 cities that it is contracted to serve.

The vaccines available have been proven safe and effective and the vaccine mandates have been proven to work. We’ve lost 24 coworkers to Covid-19 so far. As soon as we are all vaccinated that number can stop increasing. For anyone with questions regarding the safety and efficacy of the vaccines, I encourage you to visit your local library where we can assist you in locating accurate resources to help with your decision making process.

I oppose Phoenix enforcing the federal vaccine mandate for city employees. It is unlawful. People must have medical freedom over their bodies. Federal and city government must not force or coerce its employees to take unwanted medicines. The city of Phoenix is not respecting the individual medical choices of their police and fire personnel. Phoenix is directly contributing to a hostile work environment for its frontline workers with this mandate. Phoenix must stop the federal vaccine mandate.

I have served the City of Phoenix, Fire Department, and it’s citizens faithfully and professionally for 14 years now. I now face the very “leadership” I have served threatening my job and ability to provide for my family unless I comply with their demands to take this controversial “vaccination.” It is NOT safe, it is NOT effective, and when you look passed the lies and propaganda, you see that it is quite the opposite! I will not be submitting to testing, filing “exemptions” or taking the jab!

I strongly oppose the government becoming our doctor. Please don't put Phoenix into a tailspin of losing qualified employees at all levels, from desk jobs who keep the city services humming along to cops and firefights who keep everyone safe. Covid vaxed people still catch covid, still spread covid. We ALL need to be cautious but mandatory medical procedures are not cautious, they are unconstitutional and immoral.

I strongly OPPOSE this unconstitutional, & irresponsible vaccine mandate. This vaccine is NOT 100% effective & therefore shouldn’t be 100% required. Many of your city employees already have antibodies due to putting their lives on the line throughout the whole pandemic. Were you out there- No. Yet you’re telling them that this & they don’t matter. Shame on you. This mandate only makes matters WORSE for everyone. START putting your city employees at least as high as your coveted votes.

It is senseless to rid valuable dedicated city employees of their jobs by coercement of the very vaccines the FDA /CDC had to legally word on their fact sheets, “serious unexpected side effects may occur, IT IS YOUR CHOICE TO RECEIVE OR NOT. FDA: hypersensitive life threatening reactions,THIS VACCINE IS A PERSONAL CHOICE. FDA/CDC :New warning of severe myocardial/pericardial risks. Millions of people survived covid before vaccine introduction, PLEASE protect employees personal choice.

    1) Medical mandates have no place in a free society. We are not America if people must be injected to keep their jobs.
    2) Informed consent is the bedrock of our medical system. Every person has the right to hear the true benefits and risks of any medical intervention and may accept or decline it of their own free will.
    3) These vaccines clearly don't work. Infection rates are highest in the most highly vaccinated areas. Vaccines are likely driving new variants. Get over it already.

I am writing to OPPOSE the VACCINE MANDATE! City of Phoenix workers should not be forced to inject an unknown substance into their bodies in order to make a living. This is wrong! This is a personal decision that should be left up to individuals. What if the vaccine causes side effects that are a greater health risk than COVID? What is the point of subjecting City of Phoenix employees to this risk when the vaccine doesn't even stop the spread of COVID? THIS MANDATE MUST BE STOPPED!!!
