I strongly oppose this mandate! This is unconstitutional and against what we stand for as a country. The city of Phoenix is already understaffed and our employees are suffering. This mandate will cause an enormous amount of good men and women to lose their jobs all because they are standing for their freedoms that we as a country have fought for.

Mandatory vaccines are unconstitutional and they go against everything the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA stands for!
Stop the Tyranny! STOP THE MANDATE!

Everything about this mandate is wrong! We are free citizens living in the United States of America. Our Individual decisions about our health and the guidance from our primary doctor direct us to choose what is best. Both of my son-in-law‘s work for the fire department. Their families will suffer both emotionally and financially because of this mandate. The community and public in general will also suffer. Public SAFETY is put in jeopard! STOP THE MANDATE

Consider the Nuremburg Codes & the Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 … if u coerce people to take an experimental pharma product by denying privileges & livlihoods, that IS a clear violation of the Nuremburg codes est in response to Nazi tyranny… & u eat yourself as a true neo Nazi, one could rightfully say.
The reason the above mentioned ‘vaccine injury’ act exists, is because these products can maim and kill people.
MY FATHER WAS ONE OF THEM… & the Hospital (B T Bird) tried to hide it.

Mandatory vaccinations need tone struck down. It is UNCONSTITUTIONAL and the courts across the country are ruling so. Firing someone and taking their benefits is cruel, mean and nasty.

Mandating the vaccine we all know is unconstitutional and just not right. But let’s look at the facts, Phx is already short staffed on Firefighter and police offices. Mandating the vaccine will make these numbers worse, thus causing an increase in response times for emergencies which will increase deaths. Less police there will be an increase in crime. Phx is a beautiful city to live in. Now it’s your job as council to protect it! We need this mandate to stop for Phoenix’s safety!

I am sad to see this even be on the docket. I strongly oppose mandating the Covid shot for Phoenix employees. There should be the freedom to choose what is best for each person and their doctor not and elected official. The ramifications for mandating the Covid vaccine amongst our first responders is going to hurt our city. I strongly urge every member of the city council to think very carefully about what is on the table and vote for the freedom of choice for our first responders.

I strongly oppose vaccine mandates for city employees. Court orders have halted vaccine mandates nationwide. OSHA has halted vaccine mandates. Vaccinations do not prevent people from getting or spreading Covid. The city of Phoenix risks loosing 60%-80% of our public safety workers and 30% of Planning and Development critical staff if you mandate this vaccine. The residents and communities will suffer. Do not fire your employees for making their own personal choices on medical treatments.

I strongly oppose the vaccine mandates for ALL city employees. OSHA as well as a court order states the VACCINE MANDATES as UNETHICAL & UNCONSTITUTIONAL! Why is Kate Gallego pushing this MANDATE. This goes AGAINST the science. The VACCINES DO NOT PREVENT someone from getting COVID or from spreading COVID. It also totally negates natual immunity which is much more effective than any vaccine. Is Phoenix receiving money or incentive for pushing the vaccines?? I believe we all know the answer!

I strongly oppose the mandate. You are ignoring the science of natural immunity that develops once you have had Covid. Now, you as a political body, are trying to coerce the employees to inject a foreign substance into their bodies that could cause severe side effects and death. This vaccine has been proven to NOT prevent infection, spread, or death. Please do not force loyal employees to choose between their careers and possible long term medical issues resulting from the vaccine.

I strongly oppose the mandate. It has been proven time and time again these vaccines do not work. Fully vaccinated people still get covid and give it to others. Thinking logically about how viruses work there will always be a new strain because the virus wants to survive so it mutates. The vaccines will not stop covid or we wouldn’t have the flu every year. You can’t violate people’s right of choice. Some can’t get the vaccine due to concerns they have. Vote no, you will lose more employees.

There have been many social justice movements founded on the principle of choice. Getting vaccinated is truly a choice that only affects the person getting the vaccine unlike other “choice” movements. Front line workers exposed themselves before there was a vaccine for the sake of others. If the vaccine truly did prevent the spread, the pro-mandate argument would carry weight. The cost of the mandate would be greater than the cost you would face removing excellent front line workers.

Imposing a vaccine mandate will create a dangerous situation for Phoenix residents. Phoenix PD is already stretched too thin. We can’t afford to lose any more officers . Our police department and other city workers faithfully served our community during the worst of the pandemic and we owe them gratitude…not an ultimatum. The mandate is unconstitutional and a blatant violation of human rights. Do what is right for Phoenix-don’t implement a vaccine mandate.

I adamantly oppose this mandate, it is a direct conflict with medical freedom. As a wife of an employee of the city I watched my husband be a front line worker when cases of COVID were rampant. He was a hero in your eyes, now you are going to use disciplinary measures if he doesn’t comply with this mandate. Shame on you. The city is understaffed in all departments, this will cripple PHX if more firemen, police, dispatch ect are off the street. The city will decline, deaths & crime will rise.

My husband has served the residents of Phx with PFD for 25+ years. We NO longer feel he has the support of city leaders. He ran to the aid of Covid+ residents, but now he is viewed as the enemy. Your actions are putting our family through pain and suffering as you hold this over his head. The undue stress you are causing us is paramount. I officially put the city on notice that you will be held liable if he suffers a medical injury as a result of the vaccine. Stop the vaccine mandate now!

I strongly oppose this illegal measure, which has grave statutory and constitutional issues. All have an inalienable to to choose their health care decisions and not be discriminated or threatened to lose careers. First responder staffing shortages are already at unprecedented levels. Forcing a mandate that violates human rights and is unprecedented and would be destructive to the citizens and the City of Phoenix.
