NO! In the late '50's, ONE woman in the FDA, Dr. Kelsey, blocked approval of Thalidomide. In 1961 Thalidomide was linked to tens of thousands of terribly deformed children in Europe. If there is a Dr. Kelsey in the FDA today, she will be silenced.

I oppose vaccine mandates. They are unconstitutional. The courts have ruled against the federal mandate so why is the city of Phoenix moving forward? This mandate will negatively affect the public safety in Phoenix because many officers will leave.

OPPOSE. The issue is not about vaccine efficacy but rather the unconstitutionality of a vaccine mandate. In a free and prosperous society, medical decisions should be made at the individual level and not by the forceful hand of government. By all available evidence, Covid is endemic and is something we will learn to live with. There will never be 0 Covid regardless of vaccines, masking, and lockdowns. The mandate is a disgrace and the those behind it’s imposition should be ashamed. Thank you.

I do not support the mandate of the Covid 19 vaccine. It is unconstitutional and violates citizens’ rights and religious beliefs. I also believe there is nothing wrong with getting exercise, eating right, and keeping yourself healthy to protect against viruses that have and will continuously change over time.

Unconstitutional. Government overreach. Unsafe. Ineffective. Illogical. Divisive. Destructive. Demoralizing. Wrong. I have been working public safety in this city for 14 years. I worked THROUGH the pandemic when the majority were working from home. I've had Covid and tested positive TWICE for antibodies. This mandate is like a kick in the gut. This is wrong for America, wrong for COP, and I should not need an accommodation in order to keep serving and feed my family. Please make it stop!

Absolutely oppose this unjust and illegal mandate. This is an "EXPERIMENTAL" shot with more getting hurt than being saved. With a recovery rate of 99%, mandating this is absolutely abhorrent and unjust. This is AMERICA, land of the free and home of the brave. Reject his illegal mandate and send a message to Government that the People are in charge here and will not be controlled by the Government.

STRONGLY OPPOSE. Vaccine mandates are unconstitutional. The vaccines are not supported by science (only big pharma) and proven now to be ineffective and harmful. By even considering this you are violating the rights of workers and weakening the City of Phoenix by causing massive resignations. We want safety, stability, and we do NOT want an employer to dictate our health decisions to us. This is shameful and should be done away with immediately.

I say NO! Let’s stand firm on this and send a message to Washington DC that we have state sovereignty in Phoenix, Arizona and will not bow down to his mandate. The OSHA mandate has been ruled against in the court anyway. Are we still a nation of laws?

The mandates are UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Stand up and do the right thing. They do not stop the spread of the virus. They MAY minimize symptoms if you get it or may cause death. OPPOSE

You have entrusted the women and men of Phoenix Fire to make quick decisions in high stress environments when lives are on the line. These men and women deserve the right to make their own informed decisions for themselves about their healthcare. Following this order will cause PFD to lose experienced Firefighters at all levels of the organization, and with them that knowledge to better train and equip new recruits in our rapidly growing city. Do not comply with this unconstitutional order.

While I am pro-vaccine I am strongly opposed to mandates. It is a massive overreach of government.

It's hard to believe, as an American, that I am even having to write this comment. This mandate is unethical and those supporting it clearly either do not realize--or do not care--that this is unconstitutional. If this is truly about our health and safety, why would public safety have to choose between getting an experimental shot and keeping their jobs? Stop using the guise of health as a way to exert tyrannical control. Our healthcare decisions should remain just that: OUR OWN DECISION.

First, there is pending legal action about this therefore the mandate should be tabled until courts rule at MINIMUM. Second, there are alternatives to firing - see Orange County FD use of written reprimand. Last, anything invasive to the body causing adverse effects - see VAERS- should not under any condition be mandated. Strongly oppose - please protect the first responders who protect everyone.

I strongly oppose the federal governments overreach with this vaccine mandate. As a city employee for the past 10 years my job has been threatened as with many others across the country. This tyrannical behavior from the federal government very concerning for our country's future. I have a 6 month old daughter and a wife that who stays at home, and I am willing to hold strong to my beliefs against this mandate to the point of termination from my career.

Nobody should have to choose JAB or JOB
