This mandate has got to stop. As a Behavioral Health care worker, with a company for 6 years. In Medical 13 years, still paying on student loans like many others. We will lose everything we have worked hard for. All for a vaccine proven to be ineffective. There is proof of safe and effective ways to treat this illness. Do not destroy the lives of many for this mandate, just to line the pockets of BIG PHARMA.

This exec action has absolutely no teeth and is an obvious political overreach. During 2020, when info around COVID was largely unknown, our front line workers and in this case police officers put their lives on the line w/o any concern for their own risks. Now when we have a vaccine that neither prevents one from getting or giving others COVID we are going to force them to get a shot or lose their jobs. You must be absolutely out of your minds! Thx heavens for all who put on the badge!

    1) No employer public or private has any business mandating medical procedures - safe or not - for any employee. 2) Mandating use of an experimental "vaccine" is a violation of the principles of the Nuremberg Code - job loss constituting duress - no consent can be given.

I am appalled that we are having to fight our elected officials over bodily autonomy. It is foolish, irresponsible, and a great overreach for the government to mandate a vaccine that does not stop the transmission of a virus. No one should be forced to take anything that has death listed as a side effect. One mandate leads to more. When will this end? When will enough be enough? Stand behind the men and women of this city and stop the mandate.

I would like you to reconsider the vaccine mandate ser to go into effect on January 18th. I feel it should my choice if I want to get the vaccine or not. The vaccine is not safe and is not tested fully. This is an over reach of the government. Mandating this vaccine is putting so many people's livelihoods at risk. Their careers, pensions and just simply being able to provide for their families. My family relies on my salary and benefits. Please vote against this mandate!! Keep America free!!!!!

I've been a PPD officer for 13 years, living a life of hardship and sacrifice. I've worked nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. I've been exposed to every extreme of temperature and weather. I've been injured in the line of duty multiple times (one time seriously). I signed up for all this. Now I am told to sacrifice my autonomy and control over my own body and health choices. At my (and my family's) financial peril, I will, if necessary, leave this job rather than submit to this mandate.

I oppose any measure, in this existing climate of diminishing public safety employees, that would push so many vital employees out of employment.
There is no need for moving forward on this point. It is pointless and damaging to so many.

Oppose mandated covid vaccinations for Phoenix employees.

Employment should not be threatened by a vaccine mandate.

I oppose any type of mandate. It is unconstitutional and egregious to expect our Police and Fire personnel to abide by a recommendation set forth by the federal government. Why should you expect our first responders to report their medical status (HIPPA violation) to anyone other than those who are qualified to accept the information. That does not include the City's HR department or the Phoenix City Council. I oppose this unconstitutional practice and hope you will rescind the mandate

To enforce a mandate like this is down right unconstitutional! Everyone should have a choice in what they put in their bodies. To try and follow an admin that is burning our country to the ground tells me that the city has a different agenda for their employees and the interest for them. The vaccine isn’t proven to work and is still considered experimental. I will not comply and if mandated will get a lawyer to fight this! You will only be hurting the City/citizen with this mandate.

As a public school educator, I urge you to not mandate this vaccine. There are far too many questions and insufficient research to support a mandate. This requires far more planning, which I hope you’ve considered. If you mandate the vaccine, will you mandate the booster? How often? Every six months? Every year? Are you prepared to address this? Health decisions are a personal freedom. Your employees will make the best choice for their health and it’s not because of a mandate.

Our first responders, including our City of Phoenix employees are treated poorly. They have been treated poorly through the pandemic, and now you implement a mandate for further employment. How does it make any sense to have these employees work in the same environment over the last year, and now you require a vaccine to operate within the same environment? You not only have the power to oppose, but we all know your so federal money wont be in jeopardy. I oppose this mandate!

As a God fearing Christian he is the only one I need to fight C19. It is against the peoples rights to try and enforce them to take a vaccine that isn’t even proven to work. It hasn’t stopped the curve. Look at California where everyone is mandated to get a shot and they have the highest covid numbers. That is proof that the vaccine doesn’t work. Why put your first responders at risk when you don’t know what it will do in the long run? This isn’t right and you will have a lawsuit on your hands.

I STRONGLY OPPOSE this mandate! In this country I have the freedom to choose ANY medical professional(MD,DO,PA,NP,Psy.D,PT,OT,ATC,etc) to seek any medical advice, surgery, treatment, procedure or therapies. I also have the right to ACCEPT or DECLINE said advice, Sx,Tx, procedure or therapies. There is no law that states that I give up this right to ANY federal, state, county or city government. If the council pushes the mandate it shows that they are inept and irresponsible toward its employees.

The City of Phoenix employees should not be mandated to take a vaccine as a condition of employment. It is a private health decision that should be kept private. If this mandate were passed, the city would likely lose a large number of employees who have already recovered from covid and have immunity as well as those employees who do not wish to take the vaccine. This would negatively impact the remaining staff and the residents of Phoenix.

I have been a Phoenix firefighter for 20 years. I have been exposed to things far worse than Covid, just like every firefighter and police officer I know. This mandate is not about our safety. It is about money from the federal government. You won’t have a city left to invest in if you push this through. You will lose some of your very best and brightest.
Aside from it being unconstitutional, the vaccine does not stop the spread or stop you from getting Covid.
    I will not comply.

How could the leadership of the City of Phoenix turn its back on public safety after working on the front lines for the past 24 months? A City wide vaccine mandate is not only reckless in regards to the citizens of Phoenix and the potential impact it will have on service delivery but it is on extreme over reach of the Cities employment requirements as a whole. There is numerous reasons for individuals to choose not to get the vaccine and it is not any of your business or right to decide.

If you force this vaccination, you will lose countless employees. You must respect individual medical freedoms. This vaccination has not gone through sufficient testing. There are numerous reports of people losing their lives after taking this vaccine, including a perfectly healthy friend of mine. The majority of citizens do not support forced vaccination. It will be political suicide if you support this EO. You can't support "my body, my choice" and also support this vaccine mandate.

Vaccination is not the only route. It is one tool to combat C19. It should be treated as a tool, not forced on people to keep their jobs. People have personal liberties to put in their body what they want. People choose for themselves, not the government, not their doctor, nobody but themselves. If it’s really about keeping everyone “safe” why is it taking the federal government to “make” the city act in this way? Please stand up for your city employees and keep their right to bodily autonomy.
