Opposition is the only moral option for this. Have we really reached a point where we feel emboldened to discard our basic sense of empathetic humanity and punish individuals who are already struggling? Do the right thing. Find a better solution - it’s not this one. Oppose this.

Do not pass this! We need to be supporting and adding resources for our unsheltered neighbors and this would be the exact opposite. Do not listen to the people trying to put property over people.

I strongly oppose. Stop the criminalization and violent policing against our houseless community members. Sidewalks should remain public, this is an aggressive act to try to change this. Vote for people over property.

I am vehemently opposed to this agenda item, and with clear vision for what this item is hoping to achieve, every council member should as well. This is clear attack on our unsheltered neighbors. The city does not need more ordinances like this one when we have continually called for less police interactions. I demand you to ask yourselves what population this will negatively affect the most and recognize it is one of the most vulnerable and therefore should be not be passed. DO NOT PASS THIS.
