You asked about my priorities in a recent email. My highest priority is to be protected by the ability to call and text 911, and a cop will be available to come to my rescue. PPD are just now to a point in hiring that we have more officers on the street, reduced response times, a lower crime rate. Why are you punishing PPD, as seems we’re doing what is supposed to be done. If PD is defunded, will there be someone to answer 911 or respond to the call? I don’t know. You tell me?

I fully support funding the PPD. Please remember and take into consideration that many people who DO support our Phoenix Police Department are currently afraid to speak up and publicly defend them for fear of being targeted and hurt. We WILL lose MANY great men and women who proudly serve our communities if this budget doesn’t pass.

At such a detrimental time in our society the last thing we should be doing is defunding our police officers and that is why I support and urge you to pass the current budget. Our officers deserve nothing but the best training and gear to ensure our citizens safety and their own. Pass the current budget proposal and do NOT fund the OAT.

Police are essential in providing safety for both residents and tourists. People will not stay or visit if the do not feel safe.

I expect our police department to be fully funded for the safety and well being of our entire community. Any shortcuts taken in the area of public safety will most definitely jeopardize my family's safety and the safety of my fellow citizens.

The Phoenix Police Department is statistically ranked the highest in the country for cases of police killing civilians.

The City of Phoenix needs and deserves policing alternatives and investments in mental health and trauma services, education and after-school care, adequate housing, healthcare, and employment services.

Defund the Phoenix Police Department and reallocate 2020-21 city funds to policies and programs that will create and sustain a safe community.

The police department needs to be fully funded! we need more police in our community and I will be very scared if I called 911 and no one could come.
