I support mandated mask wearing while in any public space, including, but not limited to, restaurants and shopping spaces.

I oppose a mandatory rule to force the public to wear masks. More people in my observation this week are wearing them. I will, without coercion, wear a mask because I think it will protect me and others from contagion. I trust most citizens in good conscience
will abide when asked to wear masks in public. If business owners are adamant they should exercise their right to refuse service. Please do not treat us like errant children.

Mask wearing mandated all indoor spaces and crowded outdoor spaces (patios, public spaces, etc). Mask wearing not mandated non-crowded outdoor locations (hiking/nature trails, sidewalks). Consider non-police enforcement of mandate.

Masks are a critical part of slowing the spread of COVID. Please make them mandatory in Phoenix. It doesn’t appear that enough people are making that choice on their own and our numbers are skyrocketing.

As the Executive Director of a non profit who cares for medically fragile children, I would like to speak in support of a city wide requirement to wear face masks in public. We each need to do our part to help protect the vulnerable in our community and each other.

Masks should not be mandatory. Personally when I put one on my heart rate rises. People should take other viable health measurements to avoid the spread of ANY illness, such as continue having a good hand higiene (constant hand washing), stay at home if you are sick, vulnerable people should stay at home, boost up immune systems, have more vitamin C made available to the population.

To slow the spread of Covid-19 I ask that you please support mandatory face coverings.

Please mandate face masks in public. Our front line workers need N95s so the only protection I get is that given to me by my neighbors if they wear masks out in public. I wear a cloth mask when I have to go out to the grocery, & it doesn’t protect me from Coronavirus. It protects my neighbors. I need them to do the same for me & right now I’m about the only non-employee at my local grocery who wears a face covering. Lower all of our risk & reduce the spread by requiring masks in public.

I fully support a statewide mandate for masks!
We have proven what happens when you leave it up to citizens to self direct themselves.

No mandated Mask! We will not comply and this is against our rights. All who vote in favor will not be voted by me back into office.

I support mask wearing to slow the spread of COVID. For it to be truly effective, it takes everyone's participation.

I support a mask ordinance that requires people to wear a mask in public where they interact with people outside their own home. A mask ordinance is a simple and effective tool to slow the spread of COVID-19. It’s also equitable considering retail and restaurants are expected to remain open. Hospitality and retail workers are making the tough decision to put themselves at risk at every day so we can continue to pretend things are normal.

I don't feel that we should be forced to wear anyting that we do not wish to. Nor do I believe there is any real reason to wear a mask.

I support implementing a citywide face covering policy. Please step in where our state leadership has failed. Others' masks protect me, and my mask protects others.

Wearing a mask is a personal choice. Vote NO!

They're a reminder to keep fingers away from mouth and nose and do not stop infection spread. They also are hazardous to wear for long periods of time, due to causing the person to inhale carbon dioxide. Were suppose to inhale OXYGEN

I strongly support mandatory face coverings in public. Phoenix is experiencing rapid growth in Covid-19 and masks are the best way to flatten the curve and protect everyone!

Please mandate wearing face masks. We gave Arizonans the choice and they failed. People have disregarded the public health experts and further endangered our city and our local economy. Do the right thing and take a common step sense towards protecting us from this virus.
